GERMAN Localization QA Tester

The GermanLocalization QA Tester provides language localization testing services for all Trion products. QA Tester reports directly to the Localization QALead and works closely with the localization team to research and resolve language issues. Day to day execution of assigned projects includes linguistic testing of localized games, linguistic review, translation, and production of test reports as required.

An ideal candidate is a hardcore gamer who is good at both finding bugs and describing them in an organized and clear way. Fluency (both spoken and written) in German is required for the position. The candidate should be able to translate, edit, and proofread texts from English to German. Applicants must also be available to work extended hours and weekends when necessary to meet project deadlines.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Conduct linguistic testing on projects assigned
• Ensure the game meets the quality goals
• Work with the localization team to polishand review all game content
• Use available tools and materials to access builds and assets
• Assist with the development and maintenance of internal bug database
• Gather information from the forums and enter bugs into the database
